The system is designed for automatically growing high value plants for research etc in a fully and isolated environment
As the enclosure air is separated from the cooling air, the carbon filter is very efficient. This makes the signature of the system virtually zero or undetectable. This might be useful where security is an issue.
There is a central toughened glass tube that houses the light source. A fan at the base of the unit sucks in cooling air from the room which passes up the tube to cool the light and discharges at the top. This air can be ducted away with flexible pipe if required. A separate air handling system extracts air from the enclosure to hold it at negative pressure to prevent the escape of odours, pollen etc. This air is ducted to the air handling unit where it is carbon filtered to remove any odours.
The air handling unit also has in-built timers for automatic dawn-dusk lighting sequences and irrigation pump control.
The Iso-Ponic growing system integrates all the components into two parts and separates the heated air from the ventilation air making the carbon filtration very efficient.
In short, it is a very compact system that works efficiently, giving true isolation and undetectable operation.
